Finding highlighter is pretty hard! I looked everywhere, Maybelline, L'Oreal, Essence, Catrice, Rimmel, MaxFactor, Bourjois, Dior, Estée Lauder, Guerlain, Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent... none of these brands were selling a highlighter! The only highlighter I could find a was a liquid one from Body Shop but I don't like liquids on top of powder.
Luckily I discovered a Di near my campus at in Ghent. It sells a few brands that other stores don't sell, like La Une, The Balm and Physicians Formula.
Physicians Formula is a brown specialised in compact powders. It's mostly cruelty free and vegan I had already experienced their Sexy Booster Blush and two of their Mood Boosting blushes. What I had noticed was that these products are quite sensitiver because of their prints. You do not want to drop a compact powder from Physicians Formula, they break instantly. They are way too pricey for that.
But I was so in love with their other products when I saw them sprakling. One that caught my eyes was the Mineral Glow Pearls highlighter. It was very shiney. When I bought it I realised it was a spray-over. But it would still highlight, right, because it's a highlighter, right? Yes, it did, and how! The highlighter did a pretty good job. It looked quite intense on my cheeks, eyes, lips and forehead. The texture is soft and it applies smoothly. It comes with a brush so you don't have to use a different brush with all sorts of bronzer or blush on it that would ruin the highlighter.
And yes, it contains real mineral pearl extract.
