REVIEW: MAC ILLUSTRATED BY JULIE VERHOEVEN IN 'PEACH'

I listed this MAC Illustrated By Julie Verhoeven 'gift bag' in my Birthday Wishlist. As I knew it was unlikely I was going to receive it as a gift I thought I would use some of the money that my dad gave me for my Birthday and purchase it for myself. It's an unbelievable bargain. Three MAC products for £31.00? If anything I am saving money!

Included in the package is a MAC make-up bag, a Dazzleglass Creme Sublime Shine (which apparently doesn't have a specified name anywhere!), Cremesheen Lipstick in 'Ravishing' and a Cremestick liner in 'Cream Kiss'.

I am genuinely excited by all of these products but especially the Cremesheen Lipstick as I don't own any other MAC lipsticks and I wanted to know what all of the hype was about. I'm also please that all of the products are in a peach colour as that is one of the colours I wear the most on my lips.

All of the products work beautifully together to create the perfect peach pout. I found that my lips will need a good slick of balm before I use the cremestick liner again as it's quite drying. The lipstick, being a cremesheen, is fairly moisturising though. The dazzleglass simply finishes the whole look off beautifully.

All of the products smell absolutely gorgeous - sweet with a hint of vanilla. The Dazzleglass is especially fragranced whilst giving a lovely glisten with a hint of gold shimmer to the lip.

All of the products are highly pigmented and are not only easy to apply but easy to take off as well. No staining and no stickiness. This is now my favourite lipstick and I can't imagine not using it. I have had so many compliments since I began wearing it only the other day - even Dave doesn't mind if I go in for a cheeky kiss when I'm wearing it (unheard of as he generally hates all of my lip products).
