As you can see from the above swatches the eyeshadow's are already very pigmented for a palette that only costs £4. But with a base/primer underneath the eyeshadow's really become very vibrant and even more pigmented! I was very impressed with the pigmentation of these eyeshadow's and the palette had a lot to live up to as I already have many MUA palettes already with exceptional pigmentation so I am glad this one lives up to the standards of ones like the 'heaven and earth' palette.
The staying power of these with or without a primer/base is also very good! I tried them for a few days with no primer and they lasted all day, they still lose a bit of colour but not much. When I used them with a primer/base they were practically the same by the end of the day as they were in the morning!
I found the colours in the palette very easy to use together to create a look and didn't use any other eyeshadow's when creating a nice natural day look. All the eyeshadow's co-ordinate well with each other.
One thing I really like about this palette is the square shaped pans. I feel like you get more product and its different from any other drugstore brand that just stick to the plain old circle shaped pans. I think MUA should definitely bring out more palettes with square shaped pans!
There is only one thing that wasn't so great about this palette and that is that the eyeshadow's when in the palette can be a little chalky and messy when dabbing your brush into them so you can have to be careful not to apply too much pressure or you end up wasting some product. I have found this with most MUA palettes but its not something that would put me off buying any more palettes!
Overall I really like this palette and is just as good as their other palettes!
You can buy it in Superdrug or on their website muastore.co.uk for just £4! Bargain! And MUA have usually got an offer going on so look out for any!
Thanks for reading,
