The Lion King (2019) Character poster CR: Disney The Lion King (2019) Character poster CR: Disney The call of the wild is back with some heavy Hollywood hitters. New posters for stars of The Lion King, this year's photo-realistic CG film from director Jon Favreau, were released today, and shows Houston's own Beyoncé Knowles-Carter in her role as Nala. A 30-second television promo was also released for the film. Other celebs in the lineup: Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Alfre Woodard as Sarabi, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, and young Simba (J.D. McCrary) and young Nala (Shahadi Wright Joseph). The film releases July 19. |
