I never claimed to be a financial genius but people, it don't take a financial whiz kid to figure out that the United States under the guidance of Emperor Obama and the socialists is headed for the same big bust as Dubai. And if a small country such as Dubai defaulting on interest payments send the world stock markets tumbling what is going to happen when the USA defaults on interest payments on 12 plus trillion dollars? You say never happen? I hope you are right but I will tell you this...you had best already stock piled some precious metal just in case...precious metal like in full metal jackets.

There are several things that come to mind when I think about the couple crashing Obama's dinner party. First is that it just shows the ragheads how easy Obama is to get to if they really wanted him...but then that also tells me they are not going to take out one of their own. Another question comes to mind...do you think that the Secret Service people would have been this lax with Reagan, Clinton, or either of the Bush presidents? No, I don't think so either...hmmmmm.

Heh. Maybe these people need to live by the serenity prayer instead of arguing abut its origination.
There are millions of us who do our best to live by the creed of the serenity prayer and I will bet that of those millions damn few care who wrote it. Mine goes something like this:
"“Hey, you there today? How about helping me find the strength to fix what I have fucked up, enough self discipline to accept to accept what I can't fix, and the brains to figure one from the other.”
It works for me...at least most of the time. At least I have been sober for over 20 years.

On the home front there is a shiny new stove occupying a niche in the kitchen. I might just have to try it out today. I have a hankering for some of my fixin's...maybe one of my infamous sumbitch soups...ya know, the kinds soup ya make when ever sumbitch of a left over in the freezer goes in it? Spice it up good with sweet basil, bay leaf, thyme, and some sage and no matter whats in it the taste will be good. And if I am worried about the taste I just add a half a cup of jalapeno peppers...the heat will cover everything.

I was up until the wee hours of the morning enjoying good company and an on line poker game...and then up early this morning. My mind is still just a bit foggy...still have not finished my second half liter of jumpstart...have to wait until the spoon dissolves...anyway if what I banged out don't make sense go up and re-read that serenity prayer...y'all come back, heah?
